In which the pond counts its blessings and is lucky the Terrorists have Claire Harvey ...

With the Pellists long gone from town, and the Jensenist heresy now disjointed and forlorn - oh complimentary women, why do you forsake us? - the pond usually drops in on the Sunday Terror for a Sunday reflection ...

Unfortunately the Terrorists think so little of the Devine this weekend that they're giving her away for free ... despite it being a truly despicable effort, exploiting the Westminster matter to mount the usual irrational level of hysteria and fear ...

The Devine, with her abuse of do gooders and getting along, really won't be happy until her bile helps produce an equivalent tragedy on Australian soil. The bigger the massacre the better for the hate business brigade.

The pond isn't into the business of taking personal tragedies and using them for ugly demonisation ... all it notes is that the terrorist had visited Saudi Arabia at least three times, and yet the Devine makes no mention of this interesting fact. Why could that be?

Never mind, the pond has said more than enough about Saudi Arabia, its treatment of women, its abuse of gays, and the way it has spread fundamentalist Wahhabism around the world, and so the pond turned to the other member of the commentariat occupying the Terrorist top digital spot ...

Well it was grim pickings. Look at this Terrorist Sunday line up ...

Akker Dakker talking about coal, coal, coal, oi, oi, oi, and both petulant Peta and Miranda the Devine banging on about Islamics like a dunny door flapping in a Tamworth breeze?

Is it any wonder that every medical consultant the pond has consulted considers the pond clinically insane?

You can only read so much before the centre refuses to hold and the mind gives way, and that trolling header "Thank God for Pauline Hanson" looks like a tempting invitation into an abyss of mindless stupidity ...

Oh sure, Jacqui Lambie is thrown in for purported balance, but why is she made to suffer?

Now by way of preamble the pond realises that Claire Harvey is a blonde, which sorely prejudices the pond's valiant attempts to insist hair colour has nothing to do with it ...

She also calls herself "hackette about town" in her twitter account, which perforce the pond must agree is a step up from "blonde bimbo with bubble-headed boobs from the 'burbs, or Canberra" ...

The pond also understands and appreciates that only a short time before Harvey was scribbling furiously about Hanson's vaxxer folly ... a peculiar way to thank the long absent lord for the presence and perils of Pauline ...

But that's the way it goes with Murdochian hackettes, and possibly blondes ... one week abusing ignorance, the next week celebrating it ...

Lucky?

Well yes, in the manner of Malware's luck, as explained by Harvey back on March 12th in relation to that bout of epic Hanson ignorance ....

But that was last week, and jokes about halal toothpaste - oh how Miranda the Devine and petulant Peta laughed and laughed with a carefree giggle at the joke - but now, being fickle, we're back in this week's piece by Harvey, fiddle-de-dee, feeling so lucky that Hanson and Lambie are in the parlyment (the pond speaking dinkum ocker), and using the same "why?" gambit ... because "pourquoi pas?" ...

The best the pond could work out, Hanson and Lambie are grouse because they've got dinkum accents and have had kids ...

But what about that talk of Lambie's anger about welfare savings, and somehow Hanson staying in the mix?

Was Harvey going to introduce a reality check in relation to Hanson and her policies, in the way she'd managed for the vaxxing matter?

Well there was a hagiographic photo that conflated the two women ...

Considering what went on in parlyment (oh dinkum, coal, oi), that does a grotesque disservice to Lambie, who was at the opposite end of the spectrum when it came to welfare issues.

Why did Harvey feel the need to cobble them together? Is being a single mum the only qualification that's needed to insist that one of these things is like all the others?

As for the rest? Well it got even more peculiar, with Harvey celebrating Hanson going the full Trump on Lambie ...

So what was it that made Harvey thank the long absent lord for Hanson being on hand to unload another bigoted rant, this time aimed at Lambie.

Did she come up with anything?

Sorry, the answer's nope, nada, zilch, zero, nihil, nothing ...

You have to head elsewhere to discover Hanson's thoughts on welfare ...

It's not as if they aren't well known. They've been printed all over town.

And if you want Hanson celebrating single mums, you just have to read a little more of the Corey record (the full story can be found by googling) ...

Recall that Claire Harvey wrote that she hoped other politicians were listening to what single mum politicians of the Hanson kind had said ... then, nota bene, Hanson above, talking about young women having children for benefits ... along with much monstering of people dependent on welfare ...

That's right, that's why we should celebrate and thank the long absent lord for having Hanson around. So she can accuse single mums of being welfare cheats and rorters, while telling everyone to harden the fuck up the way she did ... by bashing even moderate Islamics and wanting them expelled, in a way that risks increasing the pond's Godwin's Law swear jar by a handsome sum ...

It's why the pond would like to award the "hackette around town" the pond's "doofus award for futtock of the week", in honour of her successful scribbling to maintain the Terror's reputation as the home for nonsensical trolling headlines and meaningless thought-free content...

And while the pond was too tired to talk about coal yet again, despite Akker Dakker's best urging, it did note another Hanson policy, as celebrated amongst other amazing policies here ...

Okay, the pond will grudgingly admit it.

The pond is lucky to have reptile scribblers like Claire Harvey ...

Thank the long absent lord for Claire Harvey ...

Why?

Pourquoi pas? And how else to waste a Sunday meditating on the follies of humanity?

This day the pond might have had to spend more time in the wilderness with the likes of Miranda the Devine, Akker Dakker and petulant Peta, but the Terrorists are a cornucopia of silliness with a never-ending supply of reptiles who just keep on giving ...

And so to a couple of memes ...
