Day 49 of MUC and day 2 of MOC, and the dog botherer barks loudly for attention ...

One of the problems for the pond during the marathon is that old favourites are likely to fall by the wayside ...

There's absolutely no need to pay attention to the pitiful sight of the dog botherer howling at the moon at the best of times, and during an election campaign, it becomes even irrelevant ...

But the pond is loyal, even if today's outing is even more perverse than usual, with the dog botherer preening and posing like a coxcomb prat ...

Here's the pitch ...

Now the pond, being perverse, would like to work out what the dog botherer's notion of independent thinking might be ... because it seems that all he wants is someone capable of reading by rote from a "right script", scribbled Murdochians ...

In dog botherer land, acting and sounding like a Little Miss Echo is where it's at ...

To see how this works, admire the mansplainer in action ...

Oh good dog, good girl, good good girl ...

Good little parrot, good Little Miss Echo doll ...

Of course that's to traduce Sales and to buy into the dog botherer's extremely thick notion that basic questions about the economy and such like can only be understood by the reptiles, and then, through a glass darkly, picked up by a mere woman and recited back, and so the woman is made whole by an injection of decent reptile delusion ...

But it's not just Sales who seems to have benefited from this injection of the delusional.

It seems Jonathan Holmes, who recently has been conducting a Murdochian job application program by scribbling furiously for Fairfax - could he become the new magic water man? - is also the beneficial recipient of reptile wisdom ...

Why didn't we hear all this when people were setting themselves on fire?

Oh wait, that's just another day in the gulags which took in the dog botherer so he might do his own personalised version of Pravda ... or perhaps neues deutschland ...

The take home message for the pond in all this? There's absolutely no boundary to the fatuous condescension and boundless sense of superiority that infests the dog botherer ...

His smug complacent view of how things are and how they might be, and his love of the gulags, is only exceeded by the way he talks about groupthink ... while applauding people who allegedly fall into his groupthink ways ...

The pond has just the record for him. Forget the Wiggles version, the age indicates where the dog botherer lives in his mind ...
