Fortress Australia ... and the moat of wilful ignorance ...

The pond inter alia noted the bromancer's proud confession of ignorance as the mark of a quality journalist specialising in foreign affairs ...

Where else other than in reptile la la land would a journalist stand up and scribble look at me, I don't have a clue, and that qualifies me for respect for my well-informed opinions ...

Well we can always rely on the lizard of Oz, the reptilian heart of a dumb nation ...

Yes, there it is, in the third par.

But where he scribbled about "that telling anonymity", didn't he mean to write "my appalling ignorance" and "my public display of astonishing stupidity"?

And speaking of stupid falderal, the bromancer knows how to deliver and to stay true to the myopic vision of fortress Australia that marked the short reign of his hero, always ready with a knighthood but suspicious of any country outside the empire.

Naturally Sheridan was quoted approvingly by the Bolter, who deplored the UN's slimy company, seemingly unaware of the slime he routinely offers on a daily basis ...

Never mind, what was truly revealing was the way that the master troller knew his audience. Truly wandering through the comments section of any reptile piece produces marvels of ignorance and bigotry, and only a few small voices attempting to stand against the tide ...

There were a few who marvelled at the celebration of ignorance, but they got dismissed out of hand:

On and on they went, ranting and moaning, all laden with fear of filthy foreigners and world government:

Which makes it all the more amusing that today the reptiles of Oz, with a readership laden with hatred, bigotry and bile, should suddenly decide that Malware might produce genuine reforms.

Yes, Malware has caved in to the reptiles' demands, finally they dare to dream that they'll have a hero who will listen:

Just don't mention the UN or climate science and she'll be sweet ...

And so to the meme of the day ... and Dame Slap crying out for freedom ...

  1. I can see that Janet has contracted a worsening condition of some sort of palsy..her shaky signature on that document is nothing like her usual ; the sharp, concise mark of the swastika.

  2. "I often wonder where Australia would be without the IPA."

Well Janet, I can tell you: it'd be just about exactly where it is today - somewhere south-east of Indonesia between the Pacific and Great Southern Oceans. But maybe, just maybe, there'd be a tad more sense and reason in public debate and in politics. But you know that, don't you.

  3. Is this Rupe taking a position upon having kicked a bit more into the IPA war chest?

How is it tax deductable for an USanian citizen?
